CondeNet Teams With The FeedRoom to Launch Dynamic New Online Video Applications for STYLE.COM, MEN.STYLE.COM and Epicurious.com

CondeNet, an Internet unit of Conde Nast, has announced the launch of new web video environments on Epicurious.com, MEN.STYLE.COM, and STYLE.COM, in an effort to bring consumers even closer to the latest food and fashion news, features and information. CondeNet's online video is hosted and distributed by The FeedRoom, a leading provider of online video solutions for global corporations, government agencies and media companies.

By incorporating online video, CondeNet is further expanding its offerings to meet the needs of consumers by creating a unique and engaging experience for users to discover original video content and the latest news, features and information on food and fashion.

With Internet video consumption surging and consumers increasingly viewing content online, quality online video is now finding an increased role as a vehicle for publishers to engage consumers and increase viewership and loyalty."

There has been a 77% increase in the number of videos viewed on STYLE.COM, MEN.STYLE.COM and Epicurious.com since The FeedRoom's platform launched two months ago. In addition, the overall viewer engagement levels have significantly increased, with an average video session of over eight minutes and over three videos viewed per session.

Epicurious.com, the ultimate food destination website and the online home of Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines, now features "how-to" videos that demonstrate the intricate details and techniques of preparing recipes, allowing users to view from the comfort of a kitchen laptop or home computer.

STYLE.COM is the definitive fashion website and extends the editorial authority of Vogue and W magazines to the Internet, offering the latest in fashion news and coverage. In addition to its regular video coverage of the Fashion Shows, the site has further expanded its video offering through STYLE Studio, by adding new original video covering designers, parties and fashion. The site currently adds 1-2 new video pieces each week.

As the online home of GQ and Details, MEN.STYLE.COM, the first website to offer authoritative fashion and lifestyle coverage to men, features trend reporting, the latest news on pop culture to fashion, buying guides for the latest gadgets and gear, and comprehensive runway coverage. MEN.STYLE.COM is the latest CondeNet property to launch online video from The FeedRoom. The site has launched video called Store Tours, which takes an in-depth look at stores in various cities such as London and L.A.
