Pointer Telocation Ltd. Appoints Mr. Fried as New CFO

Pointer Telocation Ltd. (Nasdaq Capital Market: PNTR, TASE: PNTR), a leading provider of services to insurance companies and car owners, including road-side assistance, towing and stolen vehicle retrieval services in Israel, Argentina and Mexico, announces the appointment of Mr. Zvi Fried, as Pointer' CFO effective February 1st, 2007.

Zvi Fried, former CFO of the publicly traded Chim Nir and Finance Director for Amdocs brings to Pointer broad senior experience of global financial operations including: controllership, worldwide planning and forecasting, risk management, sales, marketing and distribution.

Mr. Fried holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting degree from Bar Ilan University.

Introducing the new appointment, Pointer CEO Danny Stern said: "We welcome Mr. Fried and are sure that he will contribute to Pointer from his vast experience.
