SEPTA Broad Street Line "Sports Express" service is set to take fans to the Eagles' regular season finale against conference rival Atlanta on New Year's Eve (Sunday, Dec. 31).

Broad Street Line Sports Express trains will leave Fern Rock Transportation Center every 10 minutes between 1:30 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. en route to Pattison Station and Lincoln Financial Field for the 4:15 p.m. game. Broad Street Line service remains the best way for spectators to avoid traffic and parking costs.

Sports Express trains stop only at the Olney Transportation Center, Erie, Girard, Spring Garden, Race-Vine, City Hall and Walnut-Locust Stations before ending at Pattison Station near the sports complex. Local and express Broad Street Line trains will also be in service throughout the day.

In addition, fans traveling to Lincoln Financial Field can also take advantage of a specially discounted parking rate ($5.00) at one of the five city-operated parking lots in Center City when transferring to the Broad Street Line. SEPTA tokens can be purchased at the parking lots, which are all only a short walk away from the Broad Street Line City Hall Station.

The parking lots include:

- AutoPark - JFK Plaza Garage - 15th & Arch Streets

- AutoPark - Center City Lot - 15th & Arch Streets

- Gateway Garage - 15th & Vine Streets

- AutoPark - Gallery Mall - 10th & Filbert Streets

- AutoPark - Jefferson - 10th & Ludlow Streets

SEPTA will also open the lower level platform at Pattison Station before and after the game allowing for speedier travel into and out of the station; after the game fans will find trains standing by to provide local and express service back to Fern Rock.

SEPTA's Broad Street Line is the best route to several other events at the sports complex this holiday weekend including Saturday's Disney on Ice performances at the Wachovia Center with shows at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Philadelphia Phantoms will also be in action at the Wachovia Spectrum on Saturday for a 7:05 p.m. game. The Phantoms wrap up their weekend with a game on Sunday against the Lowell Devils at the Wachovia Spectrum at 7:05 p.m.
