Vox Sacra Tells a Christmas Story for All Faiths

The child was born in a stable. A great star appeared in the sky. Fearing the fulfillment of prophecy, King Herod ordered the slaughter of all male children who were under the age of two.

The world that the infant Jesus was born into was not welcoming. No room at the inn. Exclusion is often a brutal, ageless and universal concept. Occasionally even among Christians.

Welcoming all -- new apparel luxury brand Vox Sacra (Sacred Voice) has embarked on the ambitious mission to open conversations about faith through fashion by including everyone. Christian or not. The intent behind the formation of Vox Sacra is to ignite a dialogue about faith and life's meaning with anyone who is searching for hope and meaning in life.

Veteran luxury fashion marketer Shawn McNally is the founder of Vox Sacra and believes in the teachings of Christ. Three years ago he and his wife lost their infant daughter Stella to a rare birth defect. Vox Sacra's first collection harkens to Stella, the power of sacred light and its promise of hope and redemption.

To launch the Vox Sacra brand, McNally sought design assistance from renowned designer and brand expert Tim Girvin.

Vox Sacra's first collection of European-inspired fitted long-sleeved shirts and distinctive linen and silk scarves made its debut at MAGIC this past August. Each design utilizes original images, 400-to-600 years old, which were hand-drawn by Renaissance monks who belonged to a secret order.

"Never before has a fashion brand so boldly taken on the subject of faith, says McNally. "It is time to open the dialogue, discuss perspectives and to meet each other in love and hope, now more than ever; it is what Christ called us to do. Everyone is welcome."
