CortiCare strengthens its management team by bringing on Aron Stern as CFO |

CARLSBAD, Calif. - January 14, 2020 -- CortiCare, Inc., a leading provider of technology and electroencephalographic (EEG) services to the hospital and physician office markets, today announced that Mr. Aron Stern has joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer.
Stern will oversee the company’s finance team, as well as management of cash flow, financial planning, M&A activities, and profitability. “CortiCare has grown to a stage where more advanced financial management and planning is needed. We are growing both organically and through strategic acquisitions so we will benefit greatly from Aron’s extensive experience in financial management with a number of medical and technology companies,” said Brad Westcott, CortiCare’s President and Chairman of the Board. Mr. Stern said, “My focus and motivation has always been to work at science and technology companies, and I have an appreciation for the Neurology market with my past experience at 4D Neuroimaging. With the opportunities for CortiCare to grow through acquisitions, I can also contribute to the team’s efforts with my M&A experience.” Stern has held CFO and VP Finance positions with several companies in the healthcare market including Protein Polymer Technologies, Inc., 4-D Neuroimaging, Vital Therapies, Inc., and most recently, Immutrix & Intrinsic Materials. He has assisted with private financing, IPOs, and mergers and acquisitions. Aron holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics, an MBA in International Finance and Marketing from UC Berkeley. In addition to his financial management background, Stern has managed IT infrastructure in FDA regulated environments for public and private companies. About CortiCare, Inc.
