The People's Media Company Celebrates the Best Of The People's Media 2006

Associated Content, a leading online publishing outlet of original multimedia content from people around the world, announces the first annual People's Media Awards. The PMA's will celebrate the best of Associated Content, aka The People's Media Company, content and Content Producers in 2006 by giving away $10,000 in cash prizes.

Associated Content has offered cash incentive for contributions since we launched in 2005
Prizes will go to the top performing article, audio and video content in a range of categories (including News, Video Games, Op-Ed, City/Neighborhood, Local Activity, Local Attraction, Travel Guide, Interview, General, College Paper, Review and How-to Guides), the most active Content Producers, and to the creators of Associated Content's Editor's Picks.

"Associated Content has offered cash incentive for contributions since we launched in 2005," said Luke Beatty CEO and founder of Associated Content, "And our contributors have responded by helping create a vast, completely unique multimedia library with more than 100,000 pieces of content. The Associated Content People's Media Awards gives us another way to show appreciation for our long-faithful and brand new Content Producers who have made AC one of the web's most important sources for information."

Anyone can contribute to Associated Content's massive library of multimedia content and earn cash in the process. Content submitted between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006 qualifies for the 2006 PMA's, which means you can still participate by registering and publishing on the website Associatedcontent.com/join/acpmas.
