Hampshire, United Kingdom (5th July, 2012) - Phoenix Door Services, a leading provider and installer of commercial and industrial shutters and doors, has been awarded the maintenance contract for all of the doors at Lok'nStore self storage.
Phoenix were approached by Lok'nStore and asked if they would be interested in bidding for the annual service contract for their entire 22 sites, which would involve providing over 70 large industrial doors for the project. Phoenix requested that they visit a handful of Lok'n'Store's sites to get an idea of what type of doors they had before their prospective client submitted an offer. After Phoenix's engineers visited approximately a third of Lok'n'Store's sites, they had enough information to make their offer, and after a couple of weeks, Lok'nStore found that their overall bid - including callout charges - was the most competitive in comparison to other providers. The contract involves two full preventative maintenance visits per year on all the roller shutters, sectional doors and folding shutters across their entire estate. The contract also includes 24 hour callout with a 4 hour response to any emergency breakdowns. The contract starts in August and is initially for 12 months, but both parties are keen to keep this as an ongoing partnership.
