United Kingdom (12th July, 2012) – GT Decorations, a leading silk and artificial flower retailer and wholesaler, have launched a successful new packaging method across their entire range of artificial plants.

GT Decorations have simplified the packaging used to store and deliver their products, with the new materials and methods used already proving more cost-effective and efficient for the company’s operations than the packaging used in the past.

However, the new packaging not only presents advantages to the company itself; this also benefits customers, as ‘open here’ stickers are now included on the sides of packages to reduce the likelihood of the items potentially becoming damaged whilst the packaging is being opened.

Customer feedback has so far been very positive, with customers commenting on GT Decorations’ “great delivery” and “carefully packaged” items.

A spokesperson for GT Decorations commented: “There's an ecological benefit to the new packaging, too, as we no longer use packaging bags; we use less packaging tape than before; and any string we use to tie around the more bulky boxes is made from cotton, which also biodegrades.

“Our boxes have always been reused from manufacturers' packaging or recycled where possible, but now we have taken convenience and ecology to a whole new level, whilst optimising customer satisfaction every step of the way.”
