Hingham, Massachusetts, May 4, 2014: RMA Electronics, a world-wide distributor for Imperx, is pleased to announce the introduction of Bobcat series cameras with HD-SDI output. HD-SDI format takes high definition video using standard coax cable (typically with BNC connector) and allows long distance runs up to 500 feet. Since many existing security installations already utilize BNC coax cabling, this transition from standard definition to high definition using HD-SDI is made much more easily.

Currently, three (3) Bobcat series models are offered with HD-SDI output from Imperx and are as follows:
Bobcat ISD-B1320 – ½” format CCD, 720p, 1280 x 720, 60 fps
Bobcat ISD-B1921 – 2/3” format CCD, 1080p, 2 Megapixel HD, 1920 x 1080, 30 fps
Bobcat ISD-B1920 – 1” format CCD, 1080p, 2 Megapixel HD, 1920 x 1080, 30 fps

All models are available in both color and monochrome. Visit our web site for additional technical specifications and pricing details:
