Asia Netcom Enhances Regional Data Interconnection with Second Singapore PoP |

Asia Netcom announced today that it has established a second Singapore point of presence (PoP) at the Equinix Singapore Internet Business Exchange(TM)(IBX(R)) center. This PoP extends its portfolio of IP and connectivity services to the aggregation of enterprises and carriers operating within Equinix's network neutral Internet hub.
Starting immediately, Equinix's customers will be able to access Asia Netcom's extensive range of products and services, including IP Transit, IP VPN and International Private Line services to all major Asia markets. "Singapore is the transit hub of choice for international and regional carriers. The aggregation of enterprise and carrier customers located within Equinix's center will now have greater access to Asia Netcom's state-of-the- art fiber and IP infrastructure in Asia," said Mark Simpson, Asia Netcom's Chief Operating Officer. "The second PoP also enables Asia Netcom to better serve our customers' requirements."
