When Andrew Bacon's parents drove him to his senior prom after an accident totaled his car earlier this year, he never imagined the Men's Wearhouse tuxedo he wore could possibly lead to his next set of wheels.

Yet that's exactly what happened to this Randolph Southern School graduate.

On Saturday, Aug. 28 at 1 p.m., Bacon, 18, will receive the keys to a 2011 Chevy Camaro Coupe SS he won as part of Men's Wearhouse's national Prom Rep program and sweepstakes.

"At first, I couldn't believe that I had won," said Bacon, now a freshman at Darton College in Albany. "I already felt lucky to walk away from the car wreck in February, and now I feel even luckier, thanks to Men's Wearhouse. God has definitely blessed me; that's for sure."

Bacon will pick up his imperial blue metallic V8 coupe with silver pinstripes from Prince Chevrolet of Albany (1001 N. Slappey Blvd.). He said the color choice is something of a tribute to the black shirt and silver tie tux look he sported at prom.

As part of the Prom Rep program, participating students received 10 percent off their tux rentals for every friend who rented with Men's Wearhouse, with ten referrals earning the rep a free tux. Bacon received a free tux by referring more than 10 friends for tux rentals, which also automatically entered him into the sweepstakes. The Prom Rep program was promoted at more than 1,000 Men's Wearhouse retail locations, as well as via Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, SMS messaging, and other social media channels.

Bacon says he does not have much free time as a college freshman and athlete, but that has not stopped him from already planning his first road trip. This weekend he plans to make the one-hour drive to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where many of his friends now attend school.

"The prom promotion culminated with a completely random drawing, and Men's Wearhouse couldn't have chosen a more deserving recipient than Andrew if we tried," said Sam Stogner, VP of Formalwear Men's Wearhouse. "Prom season is one of our busiest times of the year, and Andrew has been a wonderful brand ambassador for us. We are thrilled to thank him for choosing Men's Wearhouse as his tux rental destination with the car of his dreams."
