Football turf surface earns FIFA Two-Star Certification for famous club
AUSTIN, TEXAS USA The storied Crusaders F.C. in Belfast is the first top Irish professional club to play on a new generation of football turf named Xtreme Turf manufactured by FIFA Preferred Producer, ACT Global Sports. The Crusaders Football Club was originally founded in 1898 and plays in the IFA Premiership. Due to the harsh winter climates, the club needed a synthetic turf alternative to natural grass at its Seaview Stadium. The club also demands a surface that performs like natural grass and protects the players from impact and lower extremity body movements.
