Professional tennis stars Bob and Mike Bryan, the top-ranked men's doubles team in the world, will highlight the Condor Capital Charity Open at Courtside Racquet Club on Dec. 1. The fundraising Pro-Am tournament will benefit the Justin Gimelstob Children's Fund, which supports children's organizations in New Jersey and New York.

Identical twins who have become famous for their success on the court as well as their uncanny ability to move completely in sync when competing, the Bryan brothers are widely considered one of the best tennis doubles teams of all time. Winners of eight Grand Slam titles, the Bryans recently won their 62nd career doubles title, breaking the all-time record they had shared with the Australian Hall of Fame team of Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde.

"We are extremely pleased to have attracted world-class players like the Bryan brothers for this exciting event," said Ken Schapiro, Founder and President of Condor Capital, a Martinsville investment firm. "As tennis fans we admire the Bryan brothers and as parents, we admire the work of the Gimelstob Children's Fund, so the tournament is really an outstanding opportunity to bring a special tennis talent to our community while supporting an organization that really makes a difference for children."

Featured earlier this year on CBS's 60 Minutes and in The New Yorker, the 32-year-old Californians have brought rock star status to the world of tennis doubles. In fact, they are both accomplished musicians as well, and have played on stage with Counting Crows. They also created a free "Tennis App" for the iPhone.

"Like many twins, they share just about everything, but the Bryan brothers are unique," said Schapiro, who also serves as Managing Partner of Courtside Racquet Club. "On the court, they do everything in sync – bouncing before a serve, grabbing their racket at the same time, it's almost like synchronized swimming – it's very interesting to watch."

Attendees and sponsors will get to watch the Bryan brothers compete in a Pro-Am tournament at Courtside, which will provide seating for about 500 people. The Bryans will also participate in a 90-minute tennis clinic and a private reception for sponsors. Title sponsors for the event already include AAA Worldwide Transportation, Flemington BMW, Metropolitan Seafood Company and Peapack-Gladstone Bank.

A wide range of sponsorship opportunities are available for the Condor Capital Open. For more information on sponsorships or individual tickets, please visit www.courtsideracquet.com or contact Courtside at 908-713-1144 or infoatcourtside(at)courtsideracquet.com.
