W Hoboken and VH1 Save The Music Foundation (VH1 STM) today announced an exclusive partnership dedicated to restoring instrumental music programs in schools across the country.

As part of the partnership, W Hoboken will dedicate the hotel's Fantastic Suite to supporting VH1 Save The Music Foundation, where a percentage of the room rate will be donated to support the Foundation's work to restore instrumental music education programs. The newly decked out Suite will house special music memorabilia and decor on loan from VH1 Music and Talent Executives, including Gold and Platinum records from artists such as Beyonce, The Fray, and Bon Jovi.

The Save The Music inspired suite will also feature a ready-to-play Epiphone guitar featuring a custom strap generously created and donated by Red Monkey Designs, and Rock Band 2, challenging guests to find their inner Rock Star. Upon arrival, guests will be treated to a celebrity Welcome Call from VH1 Save The Music Foundation Ambassador and GRAMMY-Award winner, Chrisette Michele, as well as a message from Jim Shearer, host of VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown. W Hoboken is offering an exclusive opportunity for guests who book the Suite to be entered to win two tickets to a VH1 Save The Music gala in November along with an Epiphone guitar.

"Partnering with VH1 Save The Music is a wonderful opportunity for W Hoboken to showcase our passion for music and entertainment, an integral part of the W experience," notes Anna MacDiarmid, General Manager of W Hoboken. "We are so happy to support this worthy Foundation as they restore music programs in schools across the country."

On May 23, 2010, VH1 and W Hoboken will celebrate the partnership and introduce the Suite at a Summer Kick-Off Party in W Hoboken's Great Room which will benefit school music programs. The event will feature an exclusive acoustic performance by GRAMMY Award Winning Artist and Foundation Ambassador, Colbie Caillat. Partygoers will enjoy brunch-inspired cocktails provided by Ultimat Vodka and Francis Ford Coppola Wines, little bites courtesy of CRUMBS Bake Shop, FIJI Water, hors d'oeuvres, and will also have an opportunity to bid on exclusive silent auction items including a necklace and earrings set from Carolee, a 6-piece luggage set from LeSportsac, a Hello Kitty watch from Simmons Jewelry and much more. Proceeds from the auction and ticket sales will support the Foundation's mission to restore instrumental music programs in our nation's public schools.

A limited number of tickets are available for $100. Guests must be 21 years of age and older to attend. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the Foundation's mission to jumpstart music education programs in U.S. public elementary and middle schools.
