SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO), today launched two new audio systems, the DMP-P1, a Cube Alarm Clock Radio with an iPod docking station, and the DMP-692 Dual Dock Music System, with two docking stations allowing two iPods or an iPod and iPhone to be played and recharged at the same time.
Both models will be available through the SANYOStore.com website as well as select retailers throughout the United States beginning late October 2009, with a suggested retail price starting at $39.99 for the Cube Alarm Clock Radio and $89.99 for the Dual Dock Music System. The programmable alarm clock allows a customized wake-up experience by allowing choices from either a playlist on an iPod or iPhone, radio station or a buzzer mode. The radio offers sleep and snooze modes for convenience. The system allows for playback while recharging. Convenient, intuitive controls with high quality sound Top panel buttons allow selections from various sources including docked iPods or a docked iPod or iPhone, AM/FM Radio, and auxiliary line input for CD, MP3 or other portable audio players. The DMP-692 offers full frequency performance to assure that music and videos from any iPod or iPhone will have full, rich sound. With an integrated, rear-mounted, passive subwoofer to provide additional bass response, it is a fully functional sound system in addition to a standard alarm clock.
