S.D. Myers, Inc. Announces Promotions of Key Staff to Lead Business Growth

S.D. Myers, Inc. a leader in the industry with a 44 year history in extending the life of electric substation equipment announces several promotions within the organization. Dale Bissonette was named President after serving the role of Vice President and Treasurer for over 8 years; John Esker was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Chuck Baker was promoted to Vice President of Production and Operations.

Dale Bissonette, now President, was instrumental in leading the business in the various acquisitions and divestiture strategies and building the business over the last 5 years to double in size and market presence. Dale joined the company over 8 years ago with the merger of SUNOHIO, Inc. where he was President. Scott Myers stated, "This marks the first time in the history of the company a non-Myers family member has been entrusted with the role of President." Mr. Bissonette is now responsible for overall business and strategic activities. Now reporting and working closely with Mr. Bissonette is Global Business Development Director, Bill Beese who will work on PCB services worldwide and affiliated service companies in the area of Analytical and Field Services.

John Esker, Vice President of Sales, will be responsible for overseeing our sales efforts both domestically and internationally. John began his career as a sales technician and moved to full time sales and sales managing over the course of his 23 years with the company. John leverages his vast experience and continues to build presence as the advocate for customers and their substation equipment. Dale Bissonette comments, "John's ability to understand our customers' needs to extend the life of their substation equipment is not easily found and we are excited to see John lead." The organization also promoted Mike Hujar, Charlie Jones and Lora Flanigan to Sales Supervisors as the organization grows its market presence.

Chuck Baker, Vice President of Production and Operations, will be responsible for overseeing Diagnostic and Analytical operations, Transformer Maintenance Institute operations and Engineering Services production and operations. Mr. Baker has led several different industry sectors over the years, but most recently he has been transforming the SDM's TMI offerings to include the new online courses and more advanced courses in transformer maintenance. Prior to leading the TMI group, Chuck was with GE overseeing their transformer Field Services business which was sold to GE by S.D. Myers in 2004. "With Chuck's extensive background in field service, transformer analysis and course development, our Customer Advocate role will take on new meaning," says Dale Bissonette.
