* Important commercial considerations
* Overview of design methods
* Case studies of using mobile phones for reading and storytelling
* Hardware design considerations
* A look at the future of mobile technologies and children

Each chapter ends with a summary of lessons learned so that designers, educators, and researchers can take away the salient points for further discussion or investigation. The book points out pitfalls, unintended consequences, and shortcomings of existing educational techniques using mobile technologies.
