The producers of Our Planet are pleased to announce that Magnum D'Or Resources will be featured in an upcoming episode as part of the show's Environmental Impact series on Sustainable Resource Management Solutions for the 21st Century. This show will be aired multiple times on Fox Business Network, CNN Headline News, Discovery Channel, CNN, MSNBC, Regional News Network, along with other Networks.

Discarded tires are among the largest and most difficult sources of waste in landfills. Worldwide, approximately one billion tires were disposed of last year. The accumulation of tires creates major health and safety risks. Tire fires can start easily and can burn for months, causing ground and air pollution. Piles of tires also provide breeding grounds for vermin and mosquitoes that may carry diseases.

The same reasons that tires are a problematic source of waste, their volume and durability, are the same characteristics that make them ideal for recycling. Their unique composition and number of useful end-user products makes tires the most re-used waste material.

Landfills minimizing their acceptance of whole tires and government laws and regulations dealing with scrap tires have led to the creation of many new markets for recycled scrap tires. From apparel products to rubber mulch for landscaping and playgrounds, the applications for recycled tires are numerous.

Florida-based Magnum D'Or Resources (MDOR) is striving to become a global waste management leader with a focus in tire recycling. MDOR's mission and goal is to convert the harmful, disposed tires into sellable "green" industry goods. Their patented processes and licensed technologies are projected to produce highly profitable products and ecological impact by breaking used tires down to their most basic and usable components.

"We have just scratched the surface of possibilities associated with the immense opportunities that await us," said Joseph Glusic, President and CEO of MDOR. "By utilizing reconstituted rubber alloys in products that would normally have been created from dwindling virgin raw materials, the possibilities are virtually endless. Only one's imagination can limit the infinite applications that will impact our daily lives with the products we will create."
