Tuesday the 29th of August is the starting date of the city's first Gubernatorial "Coffee Bean" Poll. This poll, named "Coffee Bean Wars," will run through Monday the 6th of November at noon. The Poll results press release will be sent out by 12 noon each Monday until the election. All patrons will receive a Coffee bean as a ballot.

"As patrons are ordering their meals they are handed a Coffee bean and are asked to put it in the Blue Plastic Coffee Mug favoring Democratic Party Candidates or the Silver Metal Coffee Mug favoring Republican Party Candidates. Blue Plastic Coffee Mug stands for Democratic nominees U.S. Rep. Jim Davis and state Sen. Rod Smith and the Silver Metal Coffee Mug stands for Republican nominees Attorney General Charlie Crist and Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher. On November 6th, one day before the actual election, we will accurately predict the winner of the 2006 Gubernatorial Election (Party Winners, Democrats or Republicans)," says Sami Kohen.

The Coffee Bean War Poll is being conducted to draw attention to the Gubernatorial Election, to get out more voters, as a fun way to get people more involved in our community and the election of their representatives. Voter registration information will be available for all patrons. All are welcome, including children, to celebrate America's democratic process. To call for hours that patrons can come in and vote call Sami Kohen 786-252-3813 Cell, or 954-202-0919 Chesapeake Bagel Bakery.
