The 15th annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk For Women -- the largest fundraiser of its kind for women's cancers in the nation -- will be held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this Mother's Day weekend on Saturday, May 10.

Tom Selleck, star of CBS's "Jesse Stone" franchise and NBC's "Las Vegas," Carrie Ann Inaba, star of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and "Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann," together with featured Revlon celebrity brand ambassadors, Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry and actress Beau Garrett, will join an expected 50,000 participants for the 2008 Los Angeles Run/Walk, an annual Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) event (the New York Run/Walk is the previous Saturday, May 3). The Go-Go's will perform at the post celebration concert live in the historic stadium, cheering on runners and walkers as they cross the finish-line.

The EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women was launched in 1993 through the combined efforts of Lilly Tartikoff, Ronald O. Perelman and EIF. Since inception, nearly $50 million in grants have been made from the combined events (Los Angeles and New York).

"Since the first EIF Revlon Run/Walk, hundreds of thousands of women and men have come out to show their support for this cause -- either personally, or for a loved one. It is their dedication and their commitment to find a cure that has made the run so successful," stated Ronald O. Perelman, chairman of Revlon, Inc., co-founder of the Run/Walk and co-founder of the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program. He adds, "The resources that are now available as a result of that support has allowed for significant advancement in education and research for this disease that affects so many women today."

Proceeds from past EIF Revlon Run/Walks have funded cutting-edge research, contributing to the development of the breakthrough gene treatment Herceptin(R) as well as other targeted therapies, bringing new and innovative treatment approaches to women's cancers worldwide. Monies raised have also helped numerous organizations in providing education, advocacy and outreach services to those affected by women's cancers.

2008 Los Angeles event beneficiaries include: The Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program, The Wellness Community, Women of Color Breast Cancer Survivor's Support Project, Los Angeles Breast Cancer Alliance, Cedars-Sinai Gilda Radner Cancer Detection Program, USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and Hospital Women's Cancer Program, Providence Saint Joseph Foundation, weSpark Cancer Support Center, John Wayne Cancer Institute, Citrus Valley Medical Center's Cancer Resource Center, Team Survivor Los Angeles, The UCLA Digital Mammography Program, T.H.E. (To Help Everyone) Clinic, Inc., AltaMed Health Services Corporation, Asian American Network for Cancer Awareness -- Research & Training and The Actor's Fund -- Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative.

"It is hard to put into words the incredible level of support we receive each year for this event," says Lilly Tartikoff, co-founder of the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women and co-founder of the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program. "I wish I could personally thank every person that has contributed to helping us move closer to a cure because without them we wouldn't be where we are today. Every single person that joins us in the Run/Walk is truly a gift."

"This past fall I lost my mom to a three-year, hard fought battle with ovarian cancer," Lisa Paulsen, president and CEO of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. "I've made a promise to her and my dad, we won't stop until we cross the finish line and find a cure. More than ever before, I'm truly grateful for the enormous support we receive from the entertainment community, helping us raise much-needed funds for crucial research and support programs to help the women we love."
