In an announcement causing ripples through the Metaverse, Simuality LLC and Code 4 Software have come together to release Simuality's new virtual world advertising platform, SlippCat(TM).

Code 4 Software is the parent company of the leading metrics system for Metaverse applications, V-Tracker(TM), and in the deal announced this week, Simuality will have a 5-year exclusive license for utilizing this cutting-edge technology in an advertising context. Additionally, Jared Freedman, founder of Code 4 Software, has agreed to act as Simuality's CTO, and is playing a key role in the SlippCat(TM) development team.

SlippCat(TM) is being previewed at Virtual Worlds 2008 in New York City, April 3-4, and is a "Gold Sponsor" of the conference. The SlippCat(TM) system is the first advertising vehicle that has been designed specifically for virtual world applications such as industry-leading Second Life. Rather than implementing digital versions of real-world advertising strategies (which have proven to be less than effective in virtual settings), this model takes the strengths of the Metaverse, immersive environments, in-depth user engagement, and virtual economies, to build Empowered Engagement(TM), a "pull" approach to message delivery where the user is in control of how much information they're exposed to, while still building relationships with participating brands.

Simuality LLC is both a full-service Metaverse developer, specializing in "sticky" builds that offer users activities and interaction, as well as an "incubator" for creating virtual worlds applications such as SlippCat(TM).
