Distinctive Art Auction Supports American Red Cross of Central New Jersey

Nelson Shanks has depicted notable figures such as Diana, Princess of Wales, President William Jefferson Clinton, President Ronald Reagan, Lady Margaret Thatcher, Pope John Paul II, and Luciano Pavarotti. For the third year, the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey is honored to partner with one of the world's preeminent portraitists to present:
An Evening with Maestro Nelson Shanks Live Auction of Fine Art Paintings and Drawings Available for Purchase Featuring the works of Nelson Shanks and the accomplished artists of Studio Incamminati Sunday, November 18, 2007 5:00-7:30 pm Cherry Valley Country Club Skillman, New Jersey

"This event is an incredible opportunity, not only to support the premier volunteer organization in the world, but also to acquire the works of the world's premier portraitist and the rising artists of Studio Incamminati," said Mickey Graham, committee co-chair for the event. "We are blessed to be associated with both and this occasion should not be missed."

Nelson Shanks' work has been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide, including the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery of Art, the Kennedy Center, the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Kensington Palace in London, and Fortezza Firmafede in Sarzana, Italy.

Proceeds from artwork purchased will benefit the local programs and services of American Red Cross of Central New Jersey and the artists of Studio Incamminati. Tickets are $100 per person.
