VYCON Appoints Power Quality Industry Leader Frank DeLattre as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Frank DeLattre brings a wealth of knowledge and technical sales experience in both domestic and international markets, having spent over twenty years in power quality and related industries. He joins VYCON from Pentadyne, a Los Angeles based flywheel company, where for the past two and half years he has served as their Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service. Under Frank's leadership, Pentadyne achieved triple digit sales growth the last two years as he established key OEM channel partners with major UPS providers both domestically and internationally. In his role at VYCON, Frank will focus on the UPS and Power Quality markets and report directly to Tony Aoun, President & CEO. Frank will contribute to overall product strategy and directly in the sales process. A graduate of both San Diego State University and West Coast University, Los Angeles, Frank, aged 46, began his career at Topaz Electronics Inc, a manufacturer of UPS systems. In 1990, he joined Deltec Electronics Inc., a manufacturer of Uninterruptible Power Systems as Vice President of International Sales. In 1999, Frank joined Active Power, a leading manufacturer of flywheel energy storage systems. During his years as General Manager of Asia Pacific and Latin America, Frank expanded the company's OEM channels in the region working with Caterpillar, Fuji Electric, and Powerware, establishing the Active Power flywheel technology as the premier battery-free alternative for energy storage. In 2003, he was appointed Vice President of Sales for Cherokee International, a leading manufacturer of AC-DC custom power supplies in the datacom, telecom, industrial and medical markets with responsibility for sales in North America.
