Moms helping Moms -- it's a natural phenomenon. For ages, Moms have been sharing ideas on everything from treating stains to soothing a teething toddler to a great place to take Dad for "date-night."

"Today's working parents don't always have time to swap ideas in the driveway or over coffee, so it's no wonder that Moms have been active in the FamilyZip.Org community where real people exchange tips and ideas on anything that makes family-life better," says Stacey Sao, chief community officer.

To serve the needs of busy Moms and Dads, FamilyZip.Org developed a community that helps people find the best of everything family-friendly, based on recommendations of other community members. Topics range from Activities to Crafts to Budgeting to Family Travel Ideas.

"For me, it's so convenient to be able to look at one website and find lots of information that's relevant to my life. I'm always looking for time-savers," says Lisa Dreitlin, an active user and contributor to FamilyZip, a stay at home mom, and a lawyer by trade.

When Moms find a great new product, an easier way of doing something, a new place to eat, or a super deal, they generally want to share it with friends, and FamilyZip makes that part easy. As a result, Moms have posted tips and ideas for all ages and stages, from conception to babies to teens. Membership in FamilyZip.Org is free, so it's easy for all Moms to join, and perhaps even invite Dad to join as well.
