Jones International University(R) (JIU(R)) announced today that its board of directors has accepted the resignation of Dr. David Leasure as President, effective July 30, 2007. A successor has not been named.

"David has been a strong contributor to the success of JIU, and we thank him for the leadership, integrity and vision he has brought to our organization," said JIU's Founder and Chancellor Glenn R. Jones. "He is truly an exceptional talent, and we wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career."
