Oh, how these gypsies run amok!

Limping along in their dusty caravan of creaky wheels, fake gold and questionable medicines; Queens of the Stone Age are coming straight to you like an elephant packed into a truck.

The Duluth Tour -- specifically created by Josh Homme and Co. with the truest fans in mind -- is already causing tearful tantrums in the crowded cribs of Los Angeles and New York City. Only this band would have the courage to deny the major cities of our great nation their usual first dibs. Chicago? Miami? This time you wait.

This summer, in celebration of their Era Vulgaris, the band embarks on a trek into the corners and byways of this storied country in an effort to reach every wayward soul that's ever had to raise a fist in solitude. This time you shall gather as Queens of the Stone Age pull out their divining rods and find your backyard!

And seen the utterances on just-released Era Vulgaris? Rolling Stone: "Intricately crafted, meticulously polished and ruthlessly efficient in its pursuit of depraved rock thrills." New York Times: "Queens of the Stone Age don't just riff through their new songs; they push and pull, spar and gnash, buzz and scream and hurl chords back and forth across the stereo field to dizzying effect." Rah Rah.

That bus you see kicking up dust is hurling your way. Move aside. Make some room. Hide your Pringles and petrol. Queens of the Stone Age are making a pit stop.

"You can't pick your audience," says Josh Homme. "But if I could, I'd pick people from everywhere."

He is a man of his word. Queens of the Stone Age are coming. You've been warned. The Duluth Tour. Designed with the user in mind.
