The Hollywood Group Announces Expansion Into San Diego and Opportunity for Young Actors to Showcase Their Talents

Inspired by the success of their clients and the amount of young talent they have helped throughout the years in Southern California, The Hollywood Group announced their expansion with the opening of a new office in San Diego. This expansion will increase The Hollywood Group's abilities to reach and service clients locally in the San Diego region.

"It is very difficult for newcomers to break into the Entertainment Industry, especially if they do not reside in L.A. or if they do not have a family member in the business. We're looking forward to discovering new talent, and to making this daunting industry more accessible and easier to navigate for San Diego residents," explains Marketing Manager, Amy Brown.

In Los Angeles this weekend, hundreds of aspiring young actors ages 5 through 17, will have a chance to audition their talents for several of Hollywood's top Talent Agents and Casting Directors on Saturday, June 2nd. This showcase, offered by the Hollywood Group, is a unique way for these children to meet as many industry professionals as possible in a single day. Many of them have extensive experience working as background talent, and are eager to achieve the next step. It is a chance for these kids to gain exposure and to possibly land professional representation for speaking roles in major film, television, and commercial productions.

This weekends' showcase includes VIPs Debra Manners from Daniel Hoff Agency, Katie Floyd from Diverse Talent Group, Beau Berdahl from Clear Talent Group, Bonnie Howard from Howard Talent West, Heather Baldwin from Youth Talent Connection and, casting director Justin Nesbitt from Alliance Group Entertainment. Their clients are some of Hollywood's most talented young stars. The showcase is an opportunity for the agents and casting directors to add even more talent to their already prestigious clientele.

The Hollywood Group is the brainchild of a group of entertainment pros that recognized much could be done to make the entertainment business more accessible to the newcomer. Founded in 2001, The Hollywood Group has helped countless kids and teens that have an interest in working as actors get their start.
