mVerify today announced general availability of the mVerify Testing System (MTS) version 1.4, offering Extended Stability Support and the all new Resource Manager for rapid configuration.

With MTS Extended Stability Support, a test engineer can be 80 times more productive compared with pressing keys. "A truly persistent tester can average about four hours per day of key-press testing on a cell phone or PDA. Over a five day work week and under ideal conditions, that's about 20 hours of testing. But with MTS, the same tester can run over 1,600 hours of realistic and repeatable tests, 24/7 and automatically. It's clear why our customers choose MTS to ship higher quality products sooner," explained Bob Binder, mVerify's founder and CEO.

New in 1.4, the MTS Resource Manager provides intuitive test asset management to streamline configuration. "With the proliferation of mobile devices, our customers' test labs are getting increasingly complex. With Resource Manager, customers will spend less time configuring and more time testing," Binder commented.

"Since Microsoft introduced us to mVerify MTS through the Microsoft Partner Program, we've achieved significant progress in our goal to reduce our time to market," said Jeremy Gold, Chief Technology Officer at Surveylab, Ltd. "Practical, result-producing automated testing is critical to achieving our aggressive product release goals."

About MTS, the mVerify Testing System

mVerify's MTS is a patent-pending application testing solution for mobile software developers, handset manufacturers, and cellular service providers. MTS cuts time to market, reduces testing expense, and improves reliability. MTS automates edge to core testing of mobile applications including devices using Microsoft's Windows Mobile platform. Designed for the scalability that today's mobile systems require, test engineers can control up to ten mobile phones and PDAs from one workstation, which can be used in tandem to test hundreds of devices simultaneously. At the same time, MTS can access web services, databases, and servers anywhere, achieving true edge to core coverage. With One-Click Repeat(TM), any test can be repeated up to 10,000 times with just one mouse click. The core of MTS is a distributed, object- oriented testing framework designed for tester productivity and interoperation with any testable software interface. Any test object may be reused and easily combined with others, to rapidly produce powerful test suites. With its enhanced scalability and platform coverage, MTS 1.4 means shorter product release cycles, lower testing expense, and greater application reliability and security.
