June 3, 2006 -- Ms. Tina Silas is in business as an author and publisher of Epiphany Books. On April 15, 2006, it was made official that her new business took flight. Ms. T. D. Silas made her debut, as an author of her self-published poetry book titled: “Broken Miracles: Poems about Love, Life, and Loss.”

“Broken Miracles” is an eclectic mix of poetry about Love, Life, and Loss. The poems are taken from some of the author’s personal experiences. As well as stories told to her by people she befriended. The poems will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. There are times when you can see yourself at some point in reading each poem.

Tina Silas wrote "Broken Miracles: Poems about Love, Life and Loss" to express her personal feelings. There have already been two book signings in the local MD area. Ms. Silas first appeared at “Polly’s Stump African-Art Gallery” then at “Artful Creations.” Where she successfully sold many of her books and was introduced to future business contacts.

As a publisher, the purpose of her business is to promote, sell/distribute, advertise, and market her own works. She has aspirations to start consulting others in the near future that are interested in self-publishing their creative works too. She is constantly being complimented on the way she packages her products.

“If you produce a good product and along the way remember to give something back. As a token of your appreciation then this makes all the difference whether or not you will have repeat customers,” said Ms. Mitchell.
