DiamondSafe.com is hosting their first ever Mother's Day Diamond Poetry Competition. The best selection of poems will be published on the DiamondSafe.com website. The winner will receive a Genuine Diamond Pendant that retails for $1,686.

The poems will be judged based on originality, creativity and warmth. When writing the poems authors should make sure that the subject contains the words "Mom's" or "mother's day" and include the word "diamond" somewhere in the poem. All poems must be submitted to the website by the deadline of May 1, 2007 in order to be eligible. All poems must be original works and not published on any other place prior to the contest.

The idea for a Mother's Day Diamond Poetry contest emerged while the staff at DiamondSafe.com was brainstorming ideas for a Mother's Day promotion. Shlomit Gordon, DiamondSafe's publicist had this to say about the Mother's Day Poetry Contest: "We realized that most of us like to have a beautiful poem to go along with our Mother's day gift. We remembered how much our Mom's cherished these poems, so we thought why not hold a poetry contest? This way everybody has a chance to show their Mother that extra bit of love she deserves and give her a genuine diamond pendant."

Mother's day poem submissions should be made at http://www.diamondsafe.com/diamond-poetry.asp
The top 5 poems will be published on the DiamondSafe.com website for contestants to show their Mom on Mother's Day. The winner will receive the perfect mother's day gift, a diamond pendant that retails for $1,686.
