Richard Phillips to Speak at the Supplier Excellence Alliance Member Conference

Richard Phillips, a leading authority for the aerospace and defense industry, will serve as Keynote Speaker at the Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Member Conference. The Conference will take place on February 1, 2007 in Irvine, California. Parker Aerospace will host the Member Conference and an opening Reception on the evening of January 31.

SEA is a non-profit alliance of leading industry contractors and suppliers. SEA's purpose is to accelerate supply chain performance and help U. S. suppliers become more competitive.

Mr. Phillips is a director of Houlihan Lokey - one of the world's largest mergers and acquisitions firms for the A&D industry - and founding publisher of the ADG Market Update. Mr. Phillips has extensive background in technology, having served for fourteen years with Hughes Electronics, where he performed project management, new business development, technology management and engineering. He previously served with TRW and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

SEA Member Conferences are educational forums that focus on the special needs of small and mid-sized suppliers in the aerospace, defense and space supply chain.

Conference highlights will include:

• Presentations by supplier companies on the results they are achieving with implementation of the SEA Lean Enterprise System - the business system now being deployed across the industry.

• A panel discussion on integrated supply chains

• Opportunities to interact with prime and tier-one supply chain executives at the January 31 reception and during the February 1 Member Conference.

Among those scheduled to attend are SEA board members representing BAE Systems, The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman Company, United Technologies, Parker Aerospace, Rockwell Collins, Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Sundstrand, Sikorsky Aircraft, Textron, Cessna Aircraft, Honeywell, TW Metals, Bombardier, Hitco Carbon Composites, Firth Rixson, Dresser-Rand, Roberts Tool Company, Cristek Interconnects, Tyco Printed Circuit Group and Smiths Aerospace. Supplier company executives and members of the press will also be attending.
