NEW ORLEANS, LA – January 18, 2011 – Flatstack is please to announce the new branding for the company formerly known as Flatsourcing, Inc. Since 2005, Flatstack has provided Ruby on Rails development services to clients worldwide from its production office in Kazan, Russia. The company has grown to 40+ engineers and designers and began doing iOS / iPhone development in 2011.
Flatstack was an early adopter of Rails, and has been building Ruby-on-Rails powered web apps since before Rails 1.0 was released. Whether its a custom RoR application or integrations of existing gems, we believe that using a framework like Rails is the most efficient way to build powerful web-apps quickly.
“Ruby on Rails as a framework has totally changed web application development allowing faster cycles and the ability to get a project from concept to MVP sometimes in just days or weeks.” said CTO Timur Vafin.
Flatstack started doing iPhone and iPad app development in 2010, and its quickly become a core competency. If a client has complete PSD´s designed, has an app wireframed, or wants to develop a mobile app to connect to your existing API, Flatstack is capable of bringing ideas to life.
