Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. to Announce Second Quarter 2011 Financial Results on August 3, 2011

HONOLULU, July 1, 2011 -- Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (NYSE: HE) said today that it plans to announce its second quarter 2011 financial results on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.

The Company also announced that it has scheduled an earnings conference call beginning at 8:00 a.m. Hawaii time (2:00 p.m. Eastern time) on Thursday, August 4, 2011.
