CANTON, Mass., May 13, 2011 -- National Apple Pie Day is today, Friday, May 13, and Dunkin' Donuts is making it easy as pie to celebrate this national food holiday. Dunkin' Donuts serves Warm Apple Pie as part of the brand's new "Hearty Snacks" menu. The perfect complement to a Dunkin' Donuts coffee or latte, Dunkin' Donuts' Warm Apple Pie is a flaky, handheld pie baked with real apples and topped with delicious cinnamon sugar. Warm Apple Pie is available at a suggested retail price of $1.29. In addition to Warm Apple Pie, the new line of "Hearty Snacks," featuring convenient, affordable and delicious menu items to keep on-the-go people running in between meals and throughout their day, includes Stuffed Breadsticks available in two varieties, Cheeseburger and Pepperoni & Cheese, and Bagel Twists, available in savory Cheddar Cheese and sweet Cinnamon Raisin flavors.

Dunkin' Donuts has partnered with its sister brand Baskin-Robbins, the world's largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, to offer a "cool" way to celebrate National Apple Pie Day. At more than 1,100 Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin-Robbins combination restaurants throughout the country, guests can enjoy Apple Pie a la Mode that pairs Dunkin' Donuts' Warm Apple Pie with 2.5 ounces of Baskin-Robbins vanilla soft-serve ice cream topped with a drizzle of Caramel Praline. Apple Pie a la Mode is available at a suggested retail price of $2.29.
