Jake Sully wounded and paralyzed from the waist down has been selected to fight the humanoid race on Pandora in the movie 'Avatar' releasing on the 17th of December 2009 in UAE. 15 years ago, the writer and director of the action packed adventure film 'Avatar' was only a far fetched dream. With the help of special technology used today, this film has managed to successfully engage a large percentage of the UAE audience. The trailer shows that this movie is not only about action and science fiction, but it is also about a love story. Avatar releases in UAE theatres on 17th of December 2009. The film Avatar has been written and directed so unbelievably well that people in UAE are bound to forget about the special effects and concentrate only on the emotion between the 2 main characters in the movie i.e. Jake Sully and Neytiri (the humanoid). The film begins with Jake (a former Marine) who is wounded and paralyzed from the waist below. He is selected to be an Avatar who courageously adapts the physicalities of a humanoid from the clan called 'Navi' living on the moon Pandora. As the earths resources deplete, the humans are after Pandora for the minerals below the land mass inhabited by the Navi civilization. It is up to Jake to save the earth.
