Ashford University Signs Articulation Agreement With Copper Mountain College

Ashford University has announced its most recent partnership and articulation agreement with Copper Mountain College, a Joshua Tree, CA-based training institution dedicated to serving the academic certification and transfer needs of area residents, distance learners and military personnel.

The partnership allows Copper Mountain College's students the opportunity to transfer up to 90 credits into one of Ashford's acclaimed online or on-campus bachelor's degree programs.

"Among other things, Copper Mountain College is a provider of higher education to our service people in all branches of the military," said David Vande Pol, senior director of academic partnerships for Ashford University. "Our missions are aligned in that we both strive to provide high quality educational programs, while ensuring that they are accessible and affordable."

Andrea Armstrong, counselor and articulation officer with Copper Mountain College added, "The articulation agreement with Ashford University will give our students another option for continuing their education. We are wholeheartedly dedicated to serving the academic needs of our students, and it's exciting to be able to offer them new opportunities to grow and to develop."

To date, Ashford University maintains 26 articulation agreements representing 102 colleges.
