JCT 1998 Contracts to be Withdrawn

The Joint Contract Tribunal has announced that its 1998 suite of contracts will be withdrawn this Spring and no further copies will be printed. All the contracts have been replaced by 2005 versions, apart from one or two of the construction management forms which are to be published later this year. Contractors and consultants now need to start thinking about upgrading to the new forms. Those unsure as to what forms are available and which 2005 contracts replace the 1998 ones can call the BLISS Books helpline on 01565 777234 for assistance. The bookshop is also offering 10% discount on the 2005 contracts. The JCT Contract Price Increased on 1 March 2009, but still 10% cheaper at BLISS.
