Oracle Positioned in the Leaders Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management Suites Magic Quadrant

Oracle today announced that it has been positioned in the leaders quadrant in the recent Gartner report, "Magic Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management Suites, 2007."(1) The report evaluates vendors for their ability to execute and completeness of vision.

Gartner defines the Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Suites market as, "the processes used to manage corporate performance, such as strategy formulation, budgeting and forecasting; the methodologies that drive some processes, including the balanced scorecard, or value-based management; and the metrics used to measure performance against strategic and operational performance goals." Gartner also notes that, "to be effective, CPM must be supported by a suite of analytical applications that provide functionality to support these processes, methodologies and metrics."(2)
