Environmental Tectonics Corporation's BioMedical Systems Division Announces Monoplace Chamber Sale to Indonesia

Environmental Tectonics Corporation's (Amex: ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") BioMedical Systems Division announced today that it had signed a contract for a BARA-MED(R) monoplace hyperbaric chamber with EAKOH Enterprise of Singapore. The chamber will be installed in Maltak, Indonesia. The completion of this installation adds Indonesia to the growing list of BARA-MED chambers we have supplied to Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, India and Malaysia.

The chamber will be computer-controlled and will include ETC's patient- friendly Smooth-Ride(TM) compression protocol. The chamber will also be outfitted with standard connectors to ensure compatibility with Radiometer and Perimed transcutaneous oxygen monitors.

Currently, both in the United States and overseas, only a small percentage of hospitals offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO). The number of chambers is increasing, however, as the benefits of hyperbaric medicine become more widely recognized by mainstream medicine.
