Stanford Group Company, member NASD/SPIC, has announced an initial public offering transaction in the technology sector. On March 28, GSI Technology, Inc. priced its initial public offering at $5.50 per share under the ticker GSIT. The company offered 6,131,111 shares of common stock to the public on the NASDAQ Global Market.
Stanford Group Company is a member of the Stanford Financial Group, a global network of financial services companies.
GSI Technology, Inc., based in Santa Clara, California, develops and markets "very fast" static random access memory (SRAM) products that are incorporated primarily into high-performance networking and telecommunications equipment. The company's customers include Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei Technologies and Nortel Networks. In addition, the company serves the ongoing needs of the military, industrial, test equipment and medical markets.
Needham & Co. LLC and W.R. Hambrecht & Co. acted as joint book-running managers on the transaction. Stanford Group Company acted as co-manager along with Robert W. Baird & Co.
