Rockwell Collins is bringing next-generation capabilities to signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare (EW) applications with the introduction of its CS-6040 Microwave Tuner.

The CS-6040 microwave tuner is part of the family of Rockwell Collins’ EW-SIGINT products designed to provide accurate coverage across the broadest frequency range. Rockwell Collins’ surveillance systems detect, locate and analyze signals of interest, and are able to intercept and monitor enemy communications.

"The outstanding phase noise, tuning speed, dynamic range and group delay performance make this the tuner of choice for the search and collection of communication and radar signals," said Bruce King, vice president and general manager of Communications Systems for Rockwell Collins.

The high-performance tuner covers the frequency range of 0.1 to 20 GHz with an optional millimeter wave extension. The embedded display capabilities enhance situational awareness for the warfighter by offering full-spectrum, channelized and pan displays.
