      Mount Laurel, NJ - May 31, 2016 -- The NFL Alumni's mission is to serve, assist and inform members to enrich their post-NFL lives. The NFL Alumni care for kids and care for their own, enabling the members to connect with each other and contribute to the community through charitable programs.<br><br>NFL players endure several injuries during their tenure. Over time they develop bodily aches and pains. The Optimal Wellness Challenge feeds both the body and soul of the players and their community. Charitable activities are for the soul. Physicians are there to help the body.<br><br>Dr Moalemi was recently asked to be an NFL Alumni physician and accepted wholeheartedly!<br><br>Dr. Steven Moalemi attended the 10 May meeting of the NY/NJ Alumni Association, an event for the Optimal Bowl and Wellness Challenge. Former NFL players, veterans and top health and wellness experts participate in a wellness competition designed to educate the public on optimizing their health. The journeys to wellness will be covered in a reality based web TV documentary series that will include preventive health information and other wellness education.<br><br>The NFL Alumni’s Optimal Bowl and Wellness Challenge features former NFL players is a not for profit project and also serves as a fundraiser for youth oriented charities. This dramatic and educational competition culminates in the ultimate showdown of health and wellness, the Optimal Bowl.<br><br>"I am honored to be involved with a group that combines pro athletes and everyday people all committed to a higher level of fitness and better health!" said Steven S.
