BIRMINGHAM, Mich., Oct. 19, 2011 -- Karen Egren, a sought-after jewelry expert, stylist and artist, is launching a new e-commerce and styling environment. The new website, KarenEgren.com, updates her brand and provides personal styling advice from Egren.

Dubbed by clients as the "Jewelry Accessorista," Egren has a reputation for artfully collecting unique and fascinating pieces, which range in style and price. "There are a lot of jewelry collections out there, but none as well-edited as mine," Egren said. "I choose every piece with more in mind than the individual piece. I'm thinking big picture: How will this work with the other pieces in my collection?"

Egren's keen eye has earned her a cult-like following in the fashion industry. Her selections have been featured on Oprah's "Great Buy of the Day" and include designs worn by celebrities like Katy Perry and Sara Bareilles.

Egren's abilities to recognize special pieces and sense trends before they hit have begun to gain attention. She now has representatives throughout major fashion cities in the U.S. This expansion provides Egren with the ability to meet the demand for her pieces and guide customers seeking jewelry accessorizing expertise.

The launch of her updated site will also create a more intimate exchange between Egren and her customers. "I've never really had a space online that I can interact on a personal level with my customers," Egren said.

"I'm always being asked to style someone or put jewelry together for someone who's going to a fabulous event. The new online shopping space allows me to give tips, answer questions on my blog, provide visitors with new looks … all my jewelry is on there to look at, purchase, share with friends via social media — it's just a really cool way for me to bring what I love doing to more people."

Followers can also view her monthly "Accessory Cocktails," a collection of pieces pertaining to special events like "Resort Retreat" or "The Rock Star."

"I wanted to really take my brand and collection to the next level," Egren said. "It was important for me to speak to people looking for great styling and accessory tips. The new online space, as well as the new look and feel, allows me to do that."
