Raycom Sports, a leading independent sports marketing, event management and production firm, and Swarmcast, the leader in live online sports video streaming, today announced details of Raycom Sports' 2009-2010 live Internet streaming offering for their regional Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Football and Basketball packages.

The spring of 2009 marked Raycom Sports' first foray into live game Internet streaming, distributing all 10 of their regional ACC Basketball Tournament games online to fans inside of the ACC territory. For the 2009/2010 season, Raycom Sports is expanding its streaming slate to include the entirety of both their regional ACC Football and Basketball packages. As with the ACC Tournament, Raycom Sports is using Swarmcast's Autobahn Live platform to give consumers in the ACC territory a high quality, reliable viewing experience.

Raycom Sports' 2009 regional ACC Football television package kicks off on Saturday, September 12 at 12:00n ET with an East Coast-West Coast contest featuring Stanford and Wake Forest. The following week, Raycom will travel to Death Valley for a rivalry game between Boston College and Clemson.

"Our regional consumers reacted very positively to our streaming offering last season, and we're excited to build on the solid base that Swarmcast's high quality streaming service provides. We're able to meet the demands of viewers who want ACC content, but aren't able to view it through traditional broadcast means," said Colin Smith, VP of New Media & Distribution for Raycom Sports. "Consumers have high expectations of the quality and reliability of streaming video, especially with sports. We've got a desirable slate of ACC content, and with a highly engaged Internet viewership, we're able to bring advertisers a very captive demographic."

"We're excited to expand our relationship with Raycom to include ACC football as well as the entirety of their regional basketball package. Our technology provides the highest quality viewing experience and enables Raycom to better capitalize its content by providing the tools required to create better business models," said Chad Tippin, COO of Swarmcast.
