The American Diabetes Association of Western New York appointed Paul McAfee as the 2007 Tour de Cure Fundraising Chairperson. McAfee is CEO of Buffalo-based eXubrio Group LLC, an advertising, marketing, and public relations firm.

Tour de Cure is a series of cycling events held in more than 80 cities nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Riders travel routes supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel their journeys, with fans to cheer them on.

Since Tour de Cure's beginning in 1991, thousands of individual riders and teams have participated to support the Association's mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Riders can make a difference in the lives of the 20.8 million Americans suffering from diabetes by joining thousands of cyclists around the nation who are riding in Tour de Cure.

The 2007 Buffalo Tour de Cure will take place Saturday, June 2nd. This Tour de Cure serves the eight counties of Western New York, including Buffalo and Niagara Falls. The Tour de Cure will take place at Niagara County Community College.
