Entertainment Fusion Group (EFG) is proud to announce their involvement in two benefits in the past month. The company handled the PR campaigns for the St. Baldrick's Foundation Charity fundraiser held at The Happy Ending Bar, as well as The Freedom Concert, which held its inaugural event at The Pasadena Convention Center.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation helps raise money for childhood cancer research. The annual event is held nationwide around St. Patrick's Day where participants shave their heads in return for pledges of financial support from friends and family. Participants find that shaving their heads in solidarity with the 160,000 children who are diagnosed with cancer each year is a small sacrifice in comparison to what these children endure, and want to raise money to help find a cure for children with cancer now and in the future. Hair donations were also taken for Locks of Love, an organization which takes human hair to make wigs for cancer patients who need them. With EFG's help, celebrities, media and donors came to support, and helped the foundation raise over $20k at the Hollywood event held on March 14.

EFG was also an integral part of the success of The Freedom Concert. Philanthropists, S. Robert & Denise Zeilstra, sponsored the event as an opportunity to thank the men and women of the armed services, as well as those who serve in our police and fire forces for their commitment and dedication in protecting our country and local communities. The invite-only concert featured some of the world's most renowned musical artists across all genres. The star-studded concert held on April 4 brought out 1700 attendees and a slew of celebrity guests. Highlights included a musical and video tribute to the troops by Ryan Farish and Lizzie Palmer, as well as moving speeches by Jane Kaczmarek, Molly Ringwald, Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogard, and Pasadena Fire Chief Dennis Downs.

"EFG is proud to be part of these benefits," says Peter Philipp Wingsoe, managing director of EFG. "Even in these tough economic times, it is important for us to give back. We take great pride in knowing that our company can make an impact, whether it is big or small, in trying to make a difference in other people's lives."

EFG, a full service communications and marketing agency with headquarters in Los Angeles and New York City, has the proven ability to craft and deliver successful campaigns to build brands in the lifestyle, fashion, beauty, hospitality, film, television, music and overall entertainment industries, as well as core competencies in special events and celebrity relations.
