Hitachi ID Systems, Inc., a leading provider of identity management solutions, is pleased to announce a transition of its product names from a set of individual brands to a uniform, descriptive set of names that highlight the global Hitachi brand.

This change is a part of a global growth strategy to increase sales into the European and Asian markets in 2009. "Our new product names better reflect the functionality of each product and leverage the strength of the Hitachi brand," says Gideon Shoham, Hitachi ID CEO. "Rebranding is a simple but essential step in bringing our solutions to a wider, global audience."
