Nokia made a series of announcements today reflecting its continued progress in North America as the company redefines mobility for consumers looking for a new level of engagement and connection to the communities, content and services that are valuable to their daily lives.

Leveraging the global strength of its industry leading devices and services portfolio, the mobility giant brings new, enhanced wireless services and expanded industry relationships to North America by:

-- Delivering Microsoft(R) Exchange Activesync(R) Corporate Mobile email to 80 million users

-- Partnering with Rogers Wireless to launch new wireless services, allowing Canadian customers to experience the latest in mobile gaming and navigation

-- Becoming world's largest manufacturer of devices with built-in GPS for navigation; consumers gain access to maps with 15 million pre-loaded points of interest around the world

-- Providing free personal information management synch- calendar, contacts, notes and tasks - via ovi.com

-- Expanding N-Gage gaming service with two new titles from Gameloft - Million Dollar Poker and Prince of Persia Zero

Nokia and Microsoft Join to Expand Corporate Mobile Email Solution on Nokia Devices

Today, Nokia announced with Microsoft, the world's largest software provider, an agreement to bring Microsoft(R) Exchange Activesync(R) Corporate Mobile email solution to all Nokia S60 3rd Edition devices. Forty-three Nokia devices will now feature the Mail for Exchange mobile email application, making Nokia's device range the largest ever to support the world's most popular email server solution. With this announcement, Nokia is enabling about 80 million* mobile phone users - which is the number of Nokia S60 3rd Edition converged devices shipped globally to date - to connect to their business email accounts on Microsoft's Exchange Server.

Nokia Strikes Agreement with Rogers Communications to Deliver Maps and Mobile Gaming to Canadian Consumers

Showcasing Nokia's leadership in enhanced wireless services, Rogers Wireless and Nokia today announced the Canadian launch of exciting new wireless services that allow Rogers customers to experience the latest in mobile gaming and navigation on Nokia devices. The Nokia services agreement with Rogers is the first such agreement with a carrier in North America, further establishing Rogers' leadership in delivering Canadian consumers leading-edge experiences.

Nokia Turns a Corner in Navigation Services

During the second quarter of 2008, Nokia surpassed the traditional personal navigation device manufacturers and became the world's largest manufacturer of devices with built-in GPS for navigation. Nokia shipped more than 4.6 million units with integrated GPS. Nokia Maps offers free maps for more than 200 countries, and with 15 million points of interest pre-loaded, people can plan routes street by street or city to city.

Nokia Unveils New Features for Ovi.com

Reflecting Nokia's transition into a handset and mobile services company, Nokia is demonstrating a number of its new services on some of the industry's best converged devices, including the all new Nokia N79, Nokia N85, Nokia N96 and Nokia E71 multimedia devices. Part of the demonstration includes the new personal information management (PIM) sync functionality of Ovi.com, as well as the recently launched Nokia Ovi Suite for PC desktop application and Files on Ovi remote-access software.

Gameloft Boosts N-Gage Line-Up with Multi-Player Titles and Recognized Franchises

Nokia and Gameloft, one of the world's leading developers and publishers of mobile games, have announced two new titles for N-Gage enabled Nokia devices. Prince of Persia Zero and Million Dollar Poker will utilize the unique capability for multiplayer experiences embedded within N-Gage. The games are scheduled for release in the coming months.
