      JBT Corporation (NYSE: JBT) announced today two contracts worth in total $28 million.  <br><br>The first order is a $17 million contract to provide coating, frying, cooking and freezing solutions at a new meat and poultry plant in North America. The process solutions were developed together with the customer in JBT's state-of-the-art Food Processing Technology Center in Sandusky, OH.  <br><br>"This project is an excellent example of what JBT FoodTech does well for our key customers, from the early development of the proper processing techniques, to the installation and start-up of the equipment and the eventual service and applications support of the processing lines," says Torbjorn Arvidsson, Vice President and Division Manager for JBT FoodTech's Food Solutions and Services Division.  <br><br>The second order is an $11 million contract for an automated batch retort system. The customer is a European headquartered food company with operations in the U.S. This new system will provide the processor with leading technology to process a wide range of packaging configurations while reducing labor costs and improving energy efficiencies versus traditional equipment.  <br><br>"We are pleased to win this order," said Juan C. Podesta, Vice President and Division Manager of JBT FoodTech's Food Processing Systems Division.
