This annual event has become a landmark during the pre-Super Bowl festivities over the past several years, and it is the brainchild of The Alliance's Chairman Julius H. Hollis. This year Mr. Hollis, Alliance Board Advisor Robert Shumake, and fellow co-hosts Earl Cummings (Houston), Daniel Halpern (Atlanta), Willard Jackson (Houston), Lloyd Moore (Miami), David Rivers (Charleston, South Carolina), and Willie Woods (New York), honored Harold Henderson for his tireless work on behalf of the NFL and its players.
